The CDC has issued a warning regarding the Swine Flu outbreak. Although there a= re no confirmed cases in Southeast Texas the Health Department is treating this situation with extreme caution.

 

Attached you wi= ll find information from the CDC website regarding the Swine Flu. Please read this information so you can be well informed. The information covers the disease, treatment and preventative measures.

 

As a district we are asking you to keep your children home and take them to their physician immediately if they become ill, especially if they are running a = high temperature. (DO NOT GIVE YOUR CHILD ASPIRIN AS THIS MAY CAUSE RISK FOR RYE SYNDROME.) As= always our fever free for 24 hours policy will be enforced.
