ATTENTION! - Media Release - Old Campuses Demolition

The demolition project at the old campuses of Deweyville Independent School District is partially being funded from FEMA resources. As with the new building project, certain procedures and processes must be followed to regain funds for the district from FEMA.

In an effort to complete this project with minimal cost to Deweyville ISD and its taxpayers, we have followed all procedures set forth by FEMA for this project. From the beginning of the rebuild project seven years ago, it has included the demolition of all facilities at the former physical address in order to allow us to have an alternate project and rebuild at the new location for
the Deweyville ISD facilities.

This is not a part of any of the local buyout programs. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused to adjoining and nearby properties.
