The Pirate Band marched in the Lamar University Homecoming Parade on Saturday, November 4. The band also performed with the Showcase of Southeast Texas (Lamar University Marching Band) and other area high school bands in a combined halftime performance of "We Know the Way" from Moana. This was an exciting event for our band members as they were part of a marching band larger than our high school. The students received information about Lamar University, scholarship information and a free t-shirt for participating.
